I personally feel like ice cream cake needs a layer of actual traditional cake. You might as well just eat a regular cup of ice cream if you don't want real cake with your ice cream cake. I do agree that the cake does dry out, but like so what. When mixed with the melty ice cream, it kind of balances itself out imo
(okay sorry one more comment about pizza - the best THREE pizza places in LA are not listed in the pizza article and they cover three different styles of pizza - feels like a big miss to me; additionally only having st. louis style highlighted when you click on missouri is a bit lame AND they missed like....every good pizza spot in stl YIKES)
I mean the fact that they're scraping Yelp data means that the accuracy is already skewed ya know - so it depends on the types of reviews posted there, not necessarily how good the place is actually/comprehensive reviews of other places on the internet.
simply had to come here to comment on the misogynistic glass choices - all these men (and a few women) were in the insta comments of the BA post being like "i ask for that glass because i'm afraid of breaking the fancy glass!"
to which i say: GROW UP! you don't know how to hold a glass with a stem? and if it's that big of a concern for you, seems like you'd also drop....a rocks glass covered in condensation!
(basically i am up in arms about this. bartenders design drinks for certain glasses! jerks!)
